There are four tasks included in the CentreWare Management Pack for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager, which provide you with tools to manage the Xerox devices within SCOM 2007:
Open Web Console of the Device - launches CentreWare Internet Services (the Web page for the selected Xerox device).
Update Device Status - checks Xerox devices for new events and updates the events, alerts, and other views accordingly.
Ping Xerox Devices - pings the Xerox device that is currently selected in the Operator Console.
Xerox Help - launches the Xerox CentreWare for SCOM Help system.
To View tasks:
Click Monitoring.
In the Monitoring pane, choose Network Devices State
The Network Devices State pane opens, indicating all the discovered devices and health status of each device.
The third pane indicates tasks that are intended to work with Xerox printers included in the list of Xerox network devices.
